Bumpety Bombs (コロコロ爆弾 Korokoro Bakudan), are Forces of Nature enemies in Kid Icarus: Uprising. Their cutesy name describes their purpose completely, as they are able to attack by bumping into their enemies and exploding. These self-destructive Nature foes resemble one-eyed bombs wearing rock masks that move on a pair of wheels. If one spots Pit, a Bumpety Bomb will light its own fuse and quickly charge after the angel until it explodes.

In Kid Icarus: Uprising

These enemies first appear in Chapter 12: Wrath of the Reset Bomb in the land sequence. The bomb will use its wheels to follow Pit, eventually exploding even if Pit does not fire upon it. Firing dash charged shots at the foe will cause it to spin over; preventing it from moving for a certain amount of time.

Idol Description

Have you ever planted a bomb, only to have monsters run away from it? It's the worst! That's why Viridi created this running time bomb. Its armor makes it hard to destroy from afar and dangerous up close, so you might just want to run!

In Super Smash Bros. 4

Bumpety Bombs appear in the 3DS version as an enemy in the Smash Run.

Trophy Description

This pesky bomb has wheels, which means the time-tested strategy of running away doesn't work as well as you'd hope. Be ready for a big blast if this bomb hits zero. Oh, and sometimes the fuse is a little shorter than normal. You'll have to attack from behind to defuse this dangerous foe.

Trivia

  • The Bumpety Bomb's name is one of two that Viridi states that she created, with the other being the Boom Stomper.
