Redirects are pages that, as the name of it says, redirect to another article. Redirects can be used for many reasons. They can link to a page if someone doesn't type the full title in the search box (i.e if someone searched "Of Myths and Monsters", it would redirect to "Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters"). They can be used for misspellings (i.e "Palutina" can be redirected to "Palutena").
Using Redirects
To create a redirect, create a page as you normally would, but make the only content of the page this:
#REDIRECT [[page]]
Replace "page" with the article you intend to redirect to.
Redirect Rules
- Do not make mainspace redirects to the userspace.
- Do not make spam redirects.
- Do not make multiple, unnecessary redirects (i.e making "Tip", "Ipt", "Pti", "Itp" all redirect to Pit. Only use common misspellings.)
