The Megonta is a Forces of Nature enemy introduced in Kid Icarus: Uprising. It is essentially a giant pill bug whose metallic shell almost completely protects it from harm. This massive monster attacks by rolling over its opponents with this shell, making it a rather challenging enemy in crowded situations. Although it can be difficult to strike its soft body under normal circumstances, the Megonta will occasionally roll onto its back when hit enough times, leaving it vulnerable to further punishment. If Pit is ever out of its reach, this creature can release an explosive projectile from the hole on its shell.
