Dark Pit: Difference between revisions

Dark Pit is confirmed to appear as an unlockable playable character in the games as a newcomer. He was [http://www.twitch.tv/hamayama leaked] by a user's Twitch channel who got a copy of the 3DS game early. Prior to the stream, he was mentioned in another [[smashwiki:Leaks#ESRB_Leak|leak]]. Before his confirmation, he made an ambiguous cameo at the end of [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqTW13AYniY#t Palutena's trailer] when the goddess questions if he has dropped in to crash her party, with which he responds with a smug "uh-huh". Interestingly, he also appears on the [http://www.kidicaruswiki.org/File:PalutenaSSB4_poster.jpg promotional artwork for Palutena], as seen in the distance.  

Dark Pit uses his [[Silver Bow]] as his main weapon and is a [[smashwiki:clone|clone]] of [[Pit]], but has a few minor differences, such as his [[smashwiki:side special|side special]], which is the [[Electroshock Arm]]. Despite his render depicting him wielding his [[Dark Pit Staff]], he only uses it for one move—his [[smashwiki:Final Smash|Final Smash]]. He also has an unique victory fanfare which takes tunes from his iconic theme song. In the complete roster, Dark Pit is placed between [[mariowiki:Dr. Mario|Dr. Mario]] and [[fireemblemwiki:Lucina|Lucina]], instead of next to his fellow ''Kid Icarus'' comrades, possibly due to his clone status.
