Fighters are the soldiers that appear in the new Multiplayer Mode of Kid Icarus: Uprising. These battle-ready characters wear visors shaped like wings as well as matching armor. In addition, Fighters are also capable of utilizing all of Pit's weapons in battle. Despite battling against each other in the multiplayer mode, the Fighters are still companions in training and are good-natured. This is shown when a team is defeated, as an opposing Fighter will help the other team's angel to his feet. It is currently unclear if these warriors are angels or humans due to their AR cards being listed as unaffiliated.

Trivia
- These soldiers look very similar to the Halberdiers from the Fire Emblem franchise.
- There are twelve armor colors for Fighters- the same twelve colors that can be selected for Miis. In Free-For-All, the player's Fighter's armor color will be that of the Mii they have selected to represent their save file (unless another player that uses the same color was in a multiplayer room first; in that case, the Fighter's armor color will change to a random color that is not being used by any other Fighter).
