You must somehow try to give power to a mysterious force ( A.K.A Medusa) Eventually he manages to destroy the Great Sacred Treasure as well, but Medusa suddenly appears and distracts him with a blindsiding blow.

When the gun is fully charges and Pit fires it, Hades seems to be destroyed but if one waits five minutes past the ending credits he reveals that he is still alive (although he no longer has a body).
