Our [[MediaWiki:Sitenotice]] is frankly huge, so it ought to be dismissable, but for that to be possible, we would need to install this [http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:DismissableSiteNotice]. I'd do this myself, but unfortunately, only users with root access to the wiki can install it, so I'll have to leave it in their hands. Whenever someone can install this, that would be great.
