Lurchthorns (トツコツ Totsukotsu) are Forces of Nature enemies introduced in Kid Icarus: Uprising. They can be considered physically equivalent to the Underworld Fire Wyrm, although their attack strategies and weaknesses are much different. These large nature creatures resemble fish with five visible bone-like structures underneath their body segments. Unlike the Fire Wyrm, Lurchthorns primarily use projectile attacks, which are unleashed from the eyes on these segments. In contrast to its Underworld equivalent, the monster’s main weakness is actually its head rather than its body.
