Phoenix Mountain is a volcanic mountain in Kid Icarus: Uprising and is the home of The Immortal Phoenix, the sole guardian of the Wish Seed which also resides on the mountain. Phoenix Mountain is found in a scorching volcanic region which contains a sea of lava, magma-filled caverns, active volcanos, a gorge made of flowing molten walls, crystalized formations, and the ruins of an ancient civilization. A large variety of volcanic monsters tend to thrive in the region's extreme conditions including Fire Wyrms, Magmoos, and Petribombers. Pit visits the volcanic mountain in order to retrieve the Wish Seed before the Underworld Army led by Hades, the god of the Underworld does.
