The Tempura Wizard (天ぷら使い Tempura Tsukai) is a brand new foe introduced in Kid Icarus: Uprising. It has some similar characteristics to the infamous Eggplant Wizard, as this deep-fried fiend is capable of turning Pit's upper body into a shrimp tempura by throwing a Tempura Bomb. However, unlike the Eggplant Wizard, the Tempura Wizard will start to frantically chase the angel once he has been transformed as an attempt to devour him, using its single eye that can close to reveal a toothy mouth and tongue. Once Pit is caught, it is game over for him.
