In Chapter 12, Pit and Palutena witness Viridi's army in conflict with Hades's and they hear Viridi's protests about the Underworld Army being worse than humans. Viridi then launches another Reset Bomb at a nearby town full of humans and Pit quickly takes action to defuse the bomb and luckily succeeds. Pit then discovers Viridi's Reset Bomb Depot, where she creates all her Reset Bombs and he heads in to shut it down. Viridi continues to send out countless soldiers to defeat Pit but to no avail and he soon makes it to the Depot's core where the pod that grows the Reset Bombs lies. Pit then makes quick work of it and the guards, causing the Depot to explode and fall apart. A furious Viridi then appears and tells Pit that he's made it on her "to-kill list".

At Chapter 14. Viridi and her Forces of Nature engage in an intense battle against the Underworld Forces with Lightning Flash Phosphora as the commander of the Forces of Nature and Thanatos now revived by Hades commanding the Underworld Forces. With the commanders locked in an intense battle Pit follows the two opposing forces so as to take down the remaining commander once one wins. During the battle Viridi is absent while Pit, Palutena, and Hades converse about the lightning battle until Palutena shows her disgust towards Hades "complement" about Phosphora's battle skills where she joins in the conversation suddenly saying that "There's nothing wrong with complements". For most of the chapter she is not present due to her being occupied with the battle against Hades's except for one time in a mine cart room where Pit questions why Phosphora will leave the Thunder Cloud very soon with Viridi suddenly replying that "The independent Phosphora does not lay her roots down. Like a hobo". During the rest of the chapter though Viridi will not make any more appearances in the side conversations, only speaking again during the fight with Phosphora.

At the beginning of Chapter 15, when Pit asks if these new enemies are Forces of Nature troops, Viridi suddenly cuts in, sarcastically asking Pit if they look natural.  She then goes on to say that she was just about to destroy Hades when these new enemies suddenly appeared.  After making an analogy to these new enemies taking pieces of the earth the way bees take pollen back to their hive, she sends her troops in to attack them.  Later, near the end of the aerial part of the mission, she gets defensive when Palutena says that her battling with Hades is what lured the Aurum to Earth in the first place and doesn't hesitate to point out that Palutena and Pit are just as responsible, but doesn't continue arguing, instead saying that the Aurum are the threat now and they are all victims.  During the ground section of the level, she taunts Pit and offers to have one of her commanders accompany him so he won't be so lonely.  She also questions the authenticity of any Hot Springs found in Aurum bases, saying that for Pit's sake that they are in fact Hot Springs and not "some other kind of 'puddle.'"

In Chapter 16, she is the first to notice that the Aurum are making copies of Underworld enemies.  She is also impressed that the Aurum are willing to destroy themselves just to destroy Pit, and is also later impressed when the Underworld Army uses a ship they hijacked to break through the shield protecting the Aurum Hive, allowing Pit to get inside.  Later on, during the ground section, she sends some of her troops in to provide cover fire for Pit, though she claims she's not doing it to help him and it is only in her best interest to keep him alive.  If Pit rides a certain grind rail to a platform below the rest of them, Palutena will suggest that Viridi has a soft spot for Pit- she denies this and repeats that she is definitely not doing it to help Pit.  After still not being believed, she calls Pit annoying and that was why she kept trying to kill him.

In The Aurum Brain, Viridi and Hades send their troops in to distract the Aurum forces while Pit and Pyrrhon head for the Aurum Brain.  After Pyrrhon takes over the brain and takes over the Aurum forces, Viridi uses her last Reset Bomb as a last resort, but it is incinerated seconds after impact.  After Palutena cuts off the Power of Flight, Viridi comes to Pit's rescue by catching him on a platform carried by her troops.  After Pit complains that the platform is too small, Viridi sends him a larger one.  Throughout the first half of the ground segment, Viridi instructs her troops on how to move the platform, including through an Aurum ship and above two other ones after they try to sandwich Pit.  When Pyrrhon tries to blast Pit with a massive blast of fire, Viridi has her troops take the blast for him.  At the end of the chapter, when Pyrrhon sends the Aurum across the galaxy, she comments that he finally did something useful for a change.
