I already gave instructions to this on JORDAN DEBONO's talk page, but in case you didn't see it, here's how to hide the spam on Recent Changes. Go to the Namespace dropdown menu, click user, tick the box reading Invert selection, then click Go. This'll hide the spam. It's be great if we could set this as a default, though I don't think such a possibility exists.
