At the start of the chapter, Pit is revealed to be trapped inside the [[Ring of Chaos]], and was able to control any living being that equipped themselves with the ring. The girl picks up the ring and puts it on her finger, allowing Pit to control her temporarily. Pit makes the girl travel through part of a valley, before she will eventually trip and drop the ring. From this point onwards, the girl runs off, not appearing in the rest of the game.
