List of Nintendo references in Kid Icarus: Uprising

In Kid Icarus: Uprising several mentions are made to other Nintendo titles.

Nintendogs:

• When Pit is taunting Twinbellows Reborn before the fight, he mentions racking up a lot of Nintendogs trainer points.

Metroid:

• When fighting Komayto at one point, Pit mentions that they resemble small Metroids.
• Space Pirates are modeled after creatures of the same name in the Metroid universe.

Donkey Kong

• One of the rooms in the Chariot Master's tower features zigzagging bridges, large rolling barrels and jump pads. Pit mentions that this looks familiar and Hades notes that the Chariot Master must have played Donkey Kong.

Brain Age

• On a certain flying stage, Pit mentions someone with a high Brain Age might be helpful in the coming battle. Viriti then mentions her brain age is 24.

Game and Watch

• When fighting some of the Aurum fleet in the Chaos Kin's world, they move frame-by-frame slowly. Pit jokes that they're doing their best Game and Watch impression
