StreetPass Mii Plaza is a built-in piece of software for the Nintendo 3DS system. It was designed to showcase the system's StreetPass feature.

One major aspect of the StreetPass Mii Plaza is the Puzzle Swap mode. In Puzzle Swap, players must StreetPass with other 3DS owners to receive one of their Puzzle Pieces at choice. Alternatively, players can trade their Play Coins for a random Puzzle Piece. These can potentially be a puzzle piece the player has already collected.

In November 2011, a new batch of Puzzle Panels were released through Nintendo Network, which generally contain more puzzle piece slots, some of which are colored pink, signalling that the puzzle piece that is being hidden can only be obtained exclusively through StreetPass.

On February 27th 2012, European Nintendo 3DS owners were entitled to a free puzzle piece from a Kid Icarus: Uprising-themed puzzle. This panel is tied with the Mario Kart 7 themed panel as containing the most puzzle piece slots, at forty, eight of which are pink. Due to the hard-to-obtain nature of the pink pieces, and general recent release, the fully completed Kid Icarus: Uprising panel has not been reported to have been completed legitimately.
