The Aurum Generator is a unique boss that has an intriguing way to defeat it. It is neither fought on Land or in the Air, but rather on [[Grind Rail]]s. The whole Generator is surrounded by Rails allowing [[Pit]] to continuously circle the boss until defeated. The only downfall to this mechanic is that melee attacks are impossible to perform on the enemy as no Grind Rail approaches the boss that closely. Instead, ranged attacks would have to be used, meaning [[Staff]]s and [[Orbitars]] would be a better choice of weapon type than [[Club]]s and [[Claws]]. As for offensive and defensive strategies, the Generator gains the help of massive [[Tribyte]]s to attack, with three rotating shields for protection. Being a main source of Aurum power, the firepower and defense only kick-in after a certain amount of damage has been dealt to the Generator.
