Palutena's Revolting Dinner (おいかけて Oikakete, Chasing After) is one of the three Kid Icarus Anime shorts released on Nintendo Video. It focuses on Palutena and her misadventure with a group of chaotic vegetables.

Story

Palutena had been planning to make her special "Vegetable Surprise" for Pit, but had accidentally added to much Rejuvenator Potion to it, causing the carrots to come to life. They then wreaked havoc in Palutena's kitchen in order to avoid getting cooked. Palutena soon chased them outside but they managed to get one over on her by toppling over an enormous statue to crush her. It missed but ended up crushing the bridge she was standing on, but she soon gets the upper hand and summons her staff to conjure up numerous cages in which to trap them in, successfully putting an end to their mischief. However without her knowing, they had previously activated all the stoves in the kitchen causing it to explode and destroy most of the floor, giving the carrots the opportunity to escape.

Later on Palutena ordered Pit to round up the Centurion troops to find the rogue veggies, but as soon as they leave one carrot appears in her bath and throws a bottle at her to lure her outside, where she is confronted with a vast armada consisting of all sorts of vegetables that were brought to life with a Rejuvenator Potion that the carrots stole. They all then leap into the air and begin to fuse together into one giant vegetable-themed monster which tries to crush Palutena. After doing considerable damage to the palace, they cause a water leak that floods most of the floor, Palutena then notices that the vegetables return back to normal upon contact with water, she then creates a rainstorm which washes away the potion from their bodies, returning them to normal and ending their attack. She then prepares to slice up the veggies with her fiery Wolf Claws, but she is held back by three large pumpkins, not being able to release the attack in time, the claws overload and cause a huge explosion, ending the veggies once and for all. But leaving her very tired and stressed, she then tells Pit that they should go out to eat.
