Centurion Orbitars

Type: Orbitars
Specializes In: Short ranged combat
Strengths: Powerful close range combat, backward-dash charge shot with high shot cancellation
Weaknesses: Power loss when shots travel far

The Centurion Orbitars are Orbitars in Kid Icarus: Uprising. They are a pair of Centurion copies that orbit Pit and attack. They are inanimate look-a-likes that attack in a similar fashion to the Centurion Assists, only with more attack options, being proper weapons. Unlike most orbitars, they lose power the further they are from the target. Their standing continuous fire has some homing ability while their dash continuous fire travel straight. Their charged shot has slightly better homing ability than the standing continuous fire. When you use the backward-dash charged shot, two centurion knight shields home slowly towards their targets and deal heavy damage while cancelling enemy fire. Centurion Orbitars are unlocked by defeating the Chariot Master while in Crisis Mode.

Idol description

Modeled after Palutena's rank-and-file soldiers, these orbitars fire shots that arc like arrows in flight and are powerful at close range. Their backward-dash charged shots fire centurion-knight shields, and their continuous fire has a long range.

Base statistics

Notice:
Weapon data is for weapons with zero ranged and melee stars with no mods to them. Distance refers to the maximum range a shot can travel, measured with non-homing shots. Damage (near) refers to the damage done when the target is as close as possible. Damage (far) refers to the damage given at maximum range. The symbol "—" means the corresponding stat is not applicable to that specific attack.

Air battles

Continuous 100.8m 24.3

Weapon fusion

This weapon follows standard weapon fusion rules, with the following exceptions:

First Blade + Centurion Orbitars = Palutena Bow (rather than Great Reaper Palm)
Angel Bow + Drill Arm = Centurion Orbitars (rather than Gaol Blade)
