The Aurum Generator is a new boss introduced in Kid Icarus: Uprising. It is the second control centre fought in the Aurum mini-arc. It can be found in Chapter 16, The Aurum Hive. This generator was the mind leading the monstrous Aurum ships into battle. It is protected by a strong force field which was opened thanks to Hades's ingenuity; throwing an Aurum ship into the field itself. For some particular reason, this feat was an jaw-dropping experience for Viridi.

Kid Icarus: Uprising

The fearsome energy source of the Aurum Hive. This reactor is capable of outputting power for nearly an eternity. It's so well secured that no intruder ever reached it, until Pit's assault on the Aurum.

The Aurum Generator is a unique boss that has an intriguing way to defeat it. It is neither fought on Land or in the Air, but rather on Grind Rails. The whole Generator is surrounded by Rails allowing Pit to continuously circle the boss until defeated. The only downfall to this mechanic is that melee attacks are impossible to perform on the enemy as no Grind Rail approaches the boss that closely. Instead, ranged attacks would have to be used, meaning Staffs and Orbitars would be a better choice of weapon type than Clubs and Claws. As for offensive and defensive strategies, the Generator gains the help of massive Tribytes to attack, with three rotating shields for protection. Being a main source of Aurum power, the firepower and defense only kick-in after a certain amount of damage has been dealt to the Generator.
