The Merc is a strong foe, not unlike Uranos. He wanders the clouds of the Sky World Tower, throwing daggers at Pit if he's within sight. Though Merc carries a shield, he's no less vulnerable if shot from the front or back.

- Merc is possibly based off of Mercury, the Roman god of trade and a messenger of the gods who is the Roman equivalent to Hermes of Greek mythology. His name may also come from the word "mercenary".
