Kobils (コビル Kobiru) are enemies that appear in Kid Icarus. They are basic foot soldiers of Medusa's forces and are slow enough to be of no real threat to Pit.
Characteristics
A Kobil is a chubby, hunched-over devil with a single eye, claws and fangs, and a pair of vestigial wings. Unlike their Keepah cousins, though, Kobils are unarmed and cannot fly.
Appearances
Kid Icarus
Pit will encounter both a blue and red variety of Kobil and they only appear in the Underworld's Fortress. They walk along platforms and turn around once the reach the edge of one or hit a wall. Blue variants are more common, but red variants are stronger.
"The little devils of Angel Land that are hostile towards angels. They cannot fly even though they have wings."
