The Boom Spear is an item first introduced in Kid Icarus: Uprising. When thrown, the Boom Spear will cause a large explosion once it hits something, repeatedly damaging enemies caught in the blast radius. It is also capable of homing in on an enemy. Boom Spears only appear in ground segments, but appear in both Solo Mode and Together Mode.

Idol Description

This fearsome attack item is armed with an explosive tip that unleashes a powerful blast after it skewers enemies. Its strong homing ability often helps it find a target even when the Boom Spear is thrown at random.
