Palutena's Key

Palutena's Key is an item found in both Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters and Kid Icarus: Uprising. It's a special key bestowed by Palutena for Pit's use. It can open any door. A more detailed appearance of the key is also shown in Uprising. It appears to have a variation of Palutena's symbol on the handle with six blue light rays emerging from the side. It also appears to be made of pure gold.

Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters
In Of Myths and Monsters, Palutena's Key will only appear if all rooms in a single stage have been visited and are now closed; it's also hidden in a block near the end of each stage that must be smashed open with a Hammer. Once obtained, the key re-opens all doors in the stage, much like a standard Key.
Kid Icarus: Uprising
The Palutena Key makes a small reappearance in Chapter 20, Palutena's Temple. It is found in one of the many dungeons beneath the floor in the temple. The key is needed to open up an electric gate preventing Pit from advancing through the temple.
