The Lightning of Judgment is an item in Kid Icarus: Uprising, appearing in both Solo and Together Modes. Upon use, the Lightning of Judgment will call down lightning bolts that will randomly strike areas ahead of the user, shocking and damaging any enemy that gets hit with one. Lightning of Judgments can be found in Treasure Boxes or random locations. It is likely based on the deity Zeus, who throws down lightning bolts as a form of judgment on evildoers. Its idol description also makes a possible reference to the super effective term from Pokémon.
Idol Description
"It's said the lightning gods created the Lightning of Judgment as a way of blowing off a little steam. The item shoots spears of electricity, dealing damage to all enemies within its storm. Super effective in Solo and Together mode."
