The Palm (破掌 Hashou, literally meaning "Breaking Palm") is the name given to a new weapon introduced in Kid Icarus: Uprising. Unlike the other weapons, it is actually not a physical item at all. Rather, it is described as a magical rune that Pit wears on his right hand and along his arm. The Palm gives off a noticeable aura when in use.
Attributes
The Palm allows Pit to harness energy in the palm of his hand, as its name suggests. With this ability, Pit is able to shoot bursts of magical energy that have the ability to rapidly home in on enemies. Not much is known about how this weapon can be used in close-range situations. Along with the Orbitars, the Palm is one of the lightest weapons in the game.
Variations
As of now, two variations of the Palm have been revealed:

Trivia
- The Midnight Palm variation is based on the Jade Rabbit of Japanese and Chinese folklore, which is said to live on the moon.
