Club

The Club (巨塔 Kyotou, literally meaning "Giant Tower") is a new weapon introduced in Kid Icarus: Uprising. It is shown to be one of the strongest weapons in the game, and is capable of a variety of different attacks.

Attributes

As shown by its size, the Club is an incredibly effective weapon in battle. However, with all of that brute strength comes a slowed attack and movement speed. Despite this, the Club can deliver heavy damage to even the strongest of enemies at close range. It is rather limited when it comes to fighting from a distance, although it can launch at least two different slow-moving projectile attacks that can plow through multiple enemies. In addition, the Club is also capable of deflecting certain projectiles back at the monsters that unleashed them. The Club's special attack enables Pit to create multiple large tornadoes to damage enemies.

Variations

As of now, nine variations of the Club have been revealed:

Ore Club (巨塔鉱物の魂 Kyotou Koubutsu no Tamashii, "Giant Tower: Soul of Mineral")	The basic Club, which is made of raw ore from the Mountain of the Gods. It is capable of launching shockwaves of energy when slammed into the ground, as well as miniature whirlwinds that can hit multiple enemies with one attack.
Black Club (黒い巨塔 Kuroi Kyotou, "Black Giant Tower")	A version of the Club that resembles a large iron slab, rumored to be crafted from all chemical elements, or perhaps the intentions of all people. Although it is rather bland in appearance, it can unleash a large, guided (but very slow) tower of spinning gears, or a giant metal ball as a projectile attack.
Halo Club (光輪の巨塔 Hikariwa no Kyotou, "Light Giant Tower")	A seemingly celestial variation that is made up of numerous glowing rings. It can create luminescent projectiles made up rings surrounding a blade-like star. These projectiles do more damage at longer distances and occasionally paralyzes foes. This Club is smaller compared to others so its shots travel much more quickly. Unfortunately, due to its smaller size, the Halo Club is a weak melee weapon.
Babel Club (バベルの巨塔 Baberu no Kyotou, "Tower of Babel")	A stone Club with small clouds circling around it that can unleash massive shockwaves of sand and dust. Its projectiles have an irregular path that may hit the same enemy multiple times.
Skyscraper Club (巨塔スカイスクレイパー Kyotou Sukaisukureipaa, "Giant Tower: Skyscraper")	A colorful Club resembling a modern building with even windows that flicker on and off. The Skyscraper Club can launch large rotating structures similar to the gears created by the Black Club. This weapon is most destructive at close range.
Atlas Club (アトラスの巨塔 Atorasu no Kyotou, "Atlas Giant Tower")	A large Club resembling the fist of the great titan, Atlas.	???
Earthmaul Club	A Club with what appears to have a spherical, molten top.	???
Hewdraw Club	A Club that resembles one of the blade-like horns on Hewdraw.	???
???	What appears to be the blade used by Magnus, although due to its sheer size is likely classified in this weapon group instead of the Blade group.	???

Trivia

• The Babel Club variation is visually based on the biblical structure of the same name. Not only does its design greatly resemble the twisting structure of the Tower of Babel itself, but the weapon is also decorated with clouds circling around it just like in the conceptual paintings of the actual Tower.
• The Black Club may be a reference to the Black Monolith from the famous sci-fi novel series and movie, 2001: A Space Odyssey. The Monolith was said to have sparked human evolution, and the Black Club is rumored to contain all the intentions of people throughout the universe.
