Skreetles (カサカサビートル Kasakasa Bītoru) are enemy units belonging to the Forces of Nature in Kid Icarus: Uprising that often attack in groups. These one-eyed beetles are recognizable by the patterns on their backs that resemble evil smiling faces, likely used to intimidate their opponents. In combat they will occasionally stand on their front legs to make themselves appear larger and more intimidating, despite them actually being quite weak. Like most other nature troops, Skreetles are ranged enemies that launch quick-moving projectiles as their primary method of attack.

When walking on all fours, Skreetle is hard to hit. Ironically, it's when it stands up to intimidate its foes that this creature is most vulnerable. Like most insects, Skreetle prefer tight spaces to being out in the open.
