The Crawler (クローラー Kurōrā) is a massive enemy in Kid Icarus: Uprising. It is one of the strongest troops of the Underworld Army, and looks like a semi-mechanical tank creature that has a weak spot located on its back.
In Kid Icarus: Uprising
A Crawler is first encountered during The Return of Palutena as an optional miniboss located inside the Intensity Gate, but many more are fought during later chapters of the game. These monsters are best attacked from a distance, due to their powerful close-ranged attacks. However, Crawlers can also bombard Pit with explosives, although this attack is preceded by a short charging time and a visible glowing reticle that can be avoided. When destroyed, a Crawler's body will unleash a powerful explosion that can cause damage to Pit if he's nearby.
Idol Description
This living tank unit uses caterpillar treads to charge over any terrain. Covered in thick armor, Crawler is impervious against almost any attack except to a wide-open weak point on the creature's back: its heart.
