Cragalanche is a new boss introduced in Kid Icarus: Uprising. It is one of the first major minions of Viridi that is battled at the end of Viridi, Goddess of Nature. Despite its heavy weight and size, this powerful rock monster is actually able to move rather quickly and has a variety of attacks that it can use. However, it has a major Achilles' heel in the form of a weak, crystalline structure embedded in its back, which inflicts more damage to Cragalanche if shot at. Nevertheless, the creature can still take a lot of punishment before going down.
Trivia
- Cragalanche might be loosely based on a golem, a mythological monster said to be made out of inanimate matter (rock or stone, in this case).
