Zik & Zak (ザック＆サック Zakku & Sakku) are new enemies in Kid Icarus: Uprising. These monsters attack in hordes that include one leader Zik (ザック Zakku) that controls numerous Zaks (サック Sakku). As long as the Zik is left alone, it will direct the rest of the Zak swarm to attack Pit by using their deadly horns. Defeating the leader will cause the remaining Zaks to bounce around aimlessly.

"The Zik is the big one. Zak, the small. A Zik functions like a control tower, broadcasting telepathic signals to control its little buddy. Defeating a Zik breaks this connection, causing the Zak to move about aimlessly."
Ziks & Zaks are uncommon monsters first encountered during The Seafloor Palace. Only one group Zaks led by a Zik is ever fought during a single chapter, and they can be very tough enemies on higher difficulties. Although both look similar, Ziks can be easily spotted among their followers by their noticeably large horns. They also let out a recognizable screech just before defeat.
