The Mudrone is a new enemy in Kid Icarus: Uprising. It is a member of the Forces of Nature that appears to resemble a giant pile of mud with a pair of crystals on its sides, but is actually a twig-like monster that uses mud to look more bulky. The crystals are capable of firing powerful lasers at Pit. These monsters never move from their position and stand very tall compared to the other Forces of Nature. Mudrones are highly resilient and have to be "killed" three times to permanently destroy them. They will drop hearts when they are killed for the first time, but not for subsequent kills. If they are defeated for the third time, they will drop food as a reward.
Appearances
Kid Icarus: Uprising
"Originally spindly creatures with twig-like bodies, Mudrones used the power of earth and water to bulk up. Mudrones will be defeated for good after the third time you've downed them, so it might be better just to run."
Mudrones are quite uncommon enemies first found during Wrath of the Reset Bomb.
Trivia
- The Mudrone's name is a combination of "mud" and "drone", describing its appearance and function.
- It is the only enemy in Uprising that revives itself multiple times before being completely destroyed.
