This article is about the Aurum boss. For the chapter in Kid Icarus: Uprising, see The Aurum Brain.

The Aurum Brain (オーラムブレイン Ōramuburein) is one of the tertiary antagonist's of uprising and the mastermind that controls the Aurum and is the mini-boss of Chapter 17 The Aurum Brain in Kid Icarus: Uprising. It later fuses with Pyrrhon to become Aurum Pyrrhon, the boss of the chapter. This occurs when Pyrrhon dives to defeat the brain headfirst, and whether intentional or not, he became one with the machine.

Characteristics

The Aurum Brain appears to have an intricate network of circular-like metallic beams of varying sizes that support the core of the Brain. The core itself is pale yellow in color, and there also appears to be a large glowing sphere in the center which could be where the main source of control that gives the endless number of orders is located.

In Kid Icarus: Uprising

The Aurum Brain makes its first and only appearance in Chapter 17, The Aurum Brain. Pit flies into the main fortress where the Brain is being held. Once there, he and Pyrrhon fight it. The brain shoots lasers and summons Aurum troops to help it defeat the two. Pyrrhon uses his ultimate attacks and smashes into it creating an explosion. Pit leaves just in time, while Pyrrhon exclaims how awesome he is because he's gained control over the Aurum Brain and its army. However, the brain eventually takes control of Pyrrhon, transforming him into Aurum Pyrrhon.

Idol Description

The central cortex controlling the entire Aurum legion. The Aurum Brain has no will of its own, only living to give an endless stream of orders to the forces acting as its swords and shields in the fight to protect the Aurum.
