Splins first appear during the ground portion of ''[[Magnus and the Dark Lord]]'', guarding a room with two [[Treasure Box]]es. Because of their ability to multiply, they are popular Underworld troops for aerial battles, where they will split and charge after Pit with their spinning blades.
