Shadow Pit (影ピット Kage Pitto, meaning Shadow Pit) is an illusory copy of Pit, created in large numbers by the Chaos Kin to guard the Chaos Vortex. These doppelgangers possess all the abilities of Pit himself and are armed with one of four weapons- a Blade, a Palm, a Cannon, or an Orbitar pair. Despite their menacing appearance, they are actually quite weak and can be defeated with little difficulty.
Idol Description
Created by the Chaos Kin, these illusory copies of Pit possess all of Pit's abilities and four of his weapons: blades, palm, cannons, and orbitars. Yet they lack Pit's blessings and experience in battle.
Trivia
- Unlike Dark Pit, a Shadow Pit has more in common with Dark Link from the Legend of Zelda series, who is likewise an evil clone of Link. Both have a completely black color scheme highlighted by glowing red eyes.
- Putt is another Pit-clone encountered in Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters.
